How the services fit together
Most water losses move through the same stages. First comes emergency water removal to get standing water out. Then structural drying uses dehumidifiers and air movers to dry walls, floors and framing to normal moisture levels. After that comes repair and rebuilding. Flooding from outside adds flood cleanup and sanitation, and wind-driven storms often call for storm damage cleanup such as roof tarping. If materials stay wet too long, mold remediation may be needed.
Not sure which applies to you? Call and describe what happened. The restoration company you're connected with can assess the damage and explain the next steps.
